Marie Westwood Magazine Celebrates Winter 2019 with a Dual Cover Edition Featuring Mario Lopez and Kaila Methven
We celebrated Our 2019 Winter Edition with Mario Lopez and Kalia Methven on the dual cover playing to the theme of Great Gatsby at the historically haunted Cedars Estate, formerly known as the Norma Talmadge estate in Los Feliz, CA. Kaila Methven for Madam Methven debuted her Special K clubwear lingerie collection as a precursor to the festival season ahead.

Invite-only guests enjoyed small plates of fusion sushi, paella, bolillos, mosaic gelatin, and various gourmet, Mexican fare; Holland Valley Coffee bar and coffee-infused cocktails featuring Bogarts Whiskey, Lamborghini Champagne, Tequila pours from El Nacimiento Distillery family’s Casa Mexico, Nuda’s magic from the first sip, Hecho — the original tequila soda with no sweeteners or artificial colors, and fruit-infused Hint water; sounds by DJ Patrick Perfetto and live performance by Laura Pieri; gifting by Bodega brands, Timeless Skin Care, Health Bomz, Dama Tequila and Blow Dry Bar Torrance. Vitality furniture provided the decor, while Dream House Marketing and Branding production helped spearhead production.
Marrying fashion to a conscious cause, the Legacy Charitable Foundation (501c3) served as the Marie Westwood philanthropic partner. Legacy Charitable Foundation’s mission is to compassionately commit to assisting Los Angeles’ surrounding community at large by promoting social welfare and supporting other non-profit organization with emphasis on enriching and improving health research with Alzheimer’s and cancer; organizations that assist the homeless, support disabled and/or sick youth, foster youth, education, financial literacy, low-income family living residences, and overall well-being of all people that are in need of hope. Legacy Charitable Foundation loves not only to create awareness but especially to raise funds that bridge the gap between those in need and support programs to help them strive.
